I am a graduate from Illinois State University with a degree in English. I have been writing creatively since high school. I have taken a broad range of classes in writing including Traditional and Non-Traditional Grammar, Technical Writing, Grammar for Writers, and a class in Rhetoric.

I prefer to write about books, music, movies, plays, astronomy/astrophysics and electronics. I have the most experience in these areas of interest because they are the things that I personally enjoy. I read at least sixty books a year, watch movies in all genres, try to go see plays when I can, and enjoy researching the new types of technology that are available. My interest in these areas give me a personal investment in the content that I write. Above all, I enjoy learning in these areas, whether it be a new band that I enjoy or the discovery a new planet that falls in the Goldilocks zone. In the end, writing no longer becomes work when you are invested in the subject matter on a personal level.
