In terms of my background and experience, I recently earned a master's degree in Positive Developmental Psychology from Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, California. I also earned a bachelor's degree in Communications from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, so I have formal training in writing across a variety of mediums, and in writing formally, coherently, and persuasively. In between earning those two degrees I have worked as an editorial assistant for a private book publisher who edited and published works on topics pertaining to operating a small business. I have also written and edited copy for the fields of education, retail, food service and safety, and quality assurance.
I enjoy writing about a range of fields, but with my educational background in psychology, I especially enjoy writing about topics within psychology, as they apply to any number of areas, including family life, relationships, child development, positive psychology, business and work life, education, and religion.
