One of my favorite activities is writing. Writing is an expression of me. Since childhood, I was fascinated by the power of words and their role in keeping the reader’s attention. Writing every day helped to develop my own style. Whenever I read a book or article containing a word which was unfamiliar, I would look up the meaning of the word and record these entries in a notebook. This system allowed me to remember each word and add it to my vocabulary. Whenever I had free time, I would write. I began by keeping a daily journal which quickly developed into a small version of what was going on in my life. Each precise detail told a new story. I looked forward to reading the previous day’s entries, and tried something different with the current entries. The more I practiced, the more pleased I became with the results.

I believe I would be a good candidate as a copywriter because I have many years’ experience writing. As a practicing Certified Public Accountant for over fifteen years, I write many letters to clients on regular basis. I am diligent, detailed-oriented, and committed to providing a quality product.

Areas which I would be interested in writing about include nature, horses, wine, health and beauty, and instructional content.
