I've been writing off an on for a few years now. Most of my experience comes from writing scripts for the various video and film classes I've taken since high school, but I've found that I am becoming more interested in novel writing and game scripts. I realize however, that I am in need of practice. That before I can be expected to be received seriously in the writing community I need to create a foundation of well done pieces.

At the moment I find myself having difficulty being creative/productive on my own, and so have determined I need to develop a habit of churning out material for specific reasons, on specific deadlines.

In the end I hope to develop good independent and non-guided work habits, ones I can use to help me follow through on my personal projects. I hope to some day make a name for myself, and perhaps even live off the income from my writing, though that's a long way off from now I think.
