When I write in any kind of written form, I am meticulously analytical about my content. I just have a natural inclination to develop or improve something until it is the best it can be. My words are a window to my true self.
One of my most cherished qualities as a copywriter is the ability to creatively flow from one point to another, while choosing your words most efficiently. Nobody wants to read an article that takes forever to get the point across. On the other hand, an article that has as much personality as the instruction manual to a cheap digital wristwatch won’t exactly be the most valuable to a client… unless that particular client happens to sell cheap digital wristwatches. Having spent 14 years consecutively as an active songwriter and musician, I know how to maintain an equal balance between creativity and functionality. Much of my childhood was spent just inches above the poverty line, yet my youth was still rich in culture, experience and education. In addition, my mother was the editor for ‘Proteus’ magazine, the monthly publication by Delaware Valley Mensa, in the mid 1990s. She had always stressed the utmost importance of imaginative, articulate and enjoyable composition with purpose. And who wants to disappoint their mother?
