My retirement from government service gives me a chance to write again, as evidenced by the publication of my first novel, Stepping Stones, just over three years ago. I am at work on another as I write this. What I have learned over the last four decades is that finding the truth is hard enough; writing about it clearly even harder. As a published novelist and former director of public affairs for a national agency I have been faced with time and word count constraints for many years. Recently I completed a two year assignment as a brand advocate for a Fortune 500 hospitality company and was the first member in their 36 million strong loyalty program membership to achieve this distinction. I have the skills and experience to produce excellent copy. I earned a Ph.D. in International Politics from Georgetown University and have worked in International Affairs as a representative of the United States Government for several decades. While there I authored over 350 reports and papers.
