I have an encyclopedic knowledge of most music from 1950 to now. I was inspired to pursue writing after reading The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. His writing is crisp and to the point. This is what I strive to accomplish with my work. I also am an avid fan of Neil Gaiman, James Ellroy and George R.R. Martin. All are masters of their respective genres and have complete command of the English language. I’ve lived abroad in Spain, Ecuador, Mexico, and Argentina. I follow the NFL daily and would follow the NBA, but, sadly, it doesn’t look like the season will happen this year. I also am a lifelong downhill skier and will race anyone who thinks they can beat me.
I love shows like “The Wire,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “The Simpsons.” I’m not a fan of shows like “Entourage” or “Sons of Anarchy,” because the scriptwriters try too hard to make the shows cool and interesting.
I prefer writing about entertainment, or travel, but I can also write about sports easily.
