Certification Process Overview
Our copywriters go through a rigorous application process before being admitted as certified copywriters. The process includes submitting resumes and any relevant work background. Copywriters also submit a writing sample based on topics that we choose and that we proofread. Samples are run through Copyscape to ensure originality and then checked for spelling, grammar, syntax, etc. for quality. Copywriters are then listed according to their area of expertise and demographics.
Quality Levels
We categorize copywriters by levels running from 1 to 7. Their level status is directly reflective of the quality of work they complete for us. In this way, we are able to separate the superb copywriters from the weaker ones, and apply projects with the appropriate level copywriter. If a copywriter is consistently returning poorly written work, they are promptly removed from our database.
Approval Rates
People apply to become a copywriter with us almost every day and come from all over the U.S. and Canada. The quality of applications tends to vary, but we admit only those who are qualified enough, and who we feel confident in, to complete projects. Of all the applications we receive, only 50 percent of them actually get approved and admitted into our database.
